Music

- Those who assist through music seek always to pray and never to perform. Singers and instrumentalists are invited to join.
- Cantor:
  Leads the assembly during liturgy in the singing of the hymns and responses that support communal prayer and enhance the worship giving beauty to the liturgy.
  Instrumental Musicians:
  Individuals who are proficient on string, woodwind, brass and percussion instruments are welcomed and encouraged to play for weekend and Feast Day Masses. Pianists, organists and guitars are encouraged to lead the assembly in music.
  
  Adult Choir:
  Adult vocalists who serve the 8:00AM Mass on Sunday and all major feasts. Repertoire includes traditional and contemporary works. Members are high school age and older.
  
  Resurrection Choir:
  Vocalists who serve music for parish funerals.
  
  Youth Choir:
  A vocal choir open to grades 3-12 who lead music at the 10:30AM Mass on Sundays and Feast Days.

  Music plays a vital role in our liturgical prayer. In choir, children grow in their faith, develop an appreciation for the rich musical tradition of the Roman Catholic Church, and learn to provide an important ministry to their parish. The choir is open to all young people of the parish in third grade through twelth grade.
  
  The Youth Choir is dedicated to leading the assembly with music at the 10:30 Mass. There are no auditions. Choir members may begin immediately after signing up.

  We are looking for individuals who are interested in joining the choir, high school to retiree!
  The choir sings regularly at 8:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday. No auditions. Just heart filled worship.
